Privacy Policy

Zenniverse (“Zenniverse,” “we,” “us”) runs zenniverse.com and its worlds at rituals.zenniverse.com, library.zenniverse.com and laws.zenniverse.com (together, the “Site”). A reading is personal, so we keep what we collect small and we tell you exactly what it is. This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us, and the choices you have.
1. What we collect
What you type into a reading. Your name, birth date, birth time (if you know it) and birth city. Your chart and numbers are calculated on your device. This information stays in your browser unless you submit a form that includes it (see below).
What you send us through a form. When you enter your email to reveal your Zenniverse Code, join a waitlist (for a world, ritual, book or the daily law), request a Deep Reading or save a compatibility reading, we receive:
- your email address;
- the reading details above (name, birth date, time and city), which world you chose, and your Zenniverse Code — so we can prepare what you asked for;
- for a Deep Reading request, the note you write us;
- for compatibility, only the other person’s first name, the kind of relationship and your shared number. Their birth details stay on your device and are never sent to us;
- whether you ticked the box to receive Zenniverse emails.
The Collective Altar. When you light a flame on the Collective Altar, we store only its color, the kind of intention (for example “love” or “protection”), and one initial if you give one. The words of your intention never leave your device. To stop abuse we count flames per visitor per day using a scrambled (hashed) version of your internet address combined with the date; we cannot turn it back into your address, and the count resets daily.
Technical information. Like every website, our host automatically receives standard technical data when your browser loads a page — such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested — in server logs used for security and keeping the Site running.
Payments. Payments are handled by Stripe. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. We receive a record of the purchase (such as your name, email and what you bought), the birth details you enter at checkout to prepare your reading or ritual, and — for rituals — your shipping address so we can send your ritual kit.
2. What is stored in your browser
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. To make the Site work, we store a few things on your own device:

You can remove all of this at any time by clearing your browser’s cookies and site data for zenniverse.com.
3. How we use it
- To show you your reading, your Zenniverse Code and the pages you ask for.
- To tell you when a world, ritual, book or offering you are waiting for opens.
- To prepare and schedule a Deep Reading you request.
- To send Zenniverse emails — readings, rituals, daily laws and openings — only if you agreed to receive them. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.
- To keep the Site secure and working, and to prevent spam and abuse.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for other companies’ advertising.
4. Who helps us run the Site
We use a small number of trusted services. Each receives only what it needs to do its job:
- Hostinger — hosts the Site and stores the form submissions described above.
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr — deliver the Site’s fonts and code libraries. Your browser requests them directly, so these services see your IP address.
- Open-Meteo — when you search for your birth city, the text you type is sent to Open-Meteo’s free geocoding service to find the city and its time zone.
- Our email service — when email sending is turned on, your email address and first name are shared with our email provider to deliver messages you signed up for.
- Stripe — processes payments when paid offerings are available.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of our visitors and of Zenniverse.
5. How long we keep it
We keep form submissions for as long as you remain on a list or until you ask us to delete them. Waitlist details are deleted or anonymized within 2 years if the offering never opens. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting laws require.
6. Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any email, or by writing to us.
- Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it.
- Clear your browser data to remove your saved reading from your device.
Depending on where you live (for example California, the EU or the UK), you may have additional rights, including to object to or restrict certain uses. We honor these requests for everyone, wherever you live. Write to hello@zenniverse.com and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Security
The Site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and form submissions are stored outside the public part of our web server. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
8. Age
The Site is meant for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us their information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so on the Site or by email.
